In 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, the Apostle Paul helped us understand God’s perspective on generosity. Paul wrote, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.  Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” That closing phrase says it about as simply as it can be said: God loves a cheerful giver. Here’s what that means. The attitude of the giver matters just as much as the amount of the gift.
