Riverside Fellowship  |  Who We Are

Riverside Fellowship is a faith family that is passionate about connecting people to Jesus. We exist to glorify God and advance His Kingdom on earth by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We worship together each Sunday at 10:30am at Page Middle School (6262 Arno Road, Franklin, TN 37064). We are a group of believers from a diverse set of backgrounds, but all of us are united by our love for Jesus Christ and our commitment to His Word and His Mission. Some of us are lifelong Methodists. Some of us are lifelong Baptists. Some of us are relatively new to faith in Christ and haven’t been connected to a church. All of us, however, are believers first and foremost in Jesus Christ and are committed to building a community of faith that takes Him at His Word, and carries that Word into the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

While Riverside Fellowship is organized as a non-denominational congregation, our faith family holds tightly to the historic, orthodox statement of faith found in The Apostles’ Creed. The Apostles’ Creed is an expression of our doctrinal beliefs but the Holy Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice within the body of Christ. To see the complete doctrinal statement of our beliefs, please visit our “What We Believe” page.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

OUR MISSION

Riverside Fellowship exists to glorify God and advance His kingdom on earth by making disciples who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20)

OUR VISION

Riverside Fellowship will seek to grow in our love for God and for all people, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the world. (Mark 12:28-33)

Riverside Fellowship is fully committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and the nations. We do this through our personal giving and as a faith family, setting aside 10% of all our gifts and offerings to missions. (Photo from Operation Christmas Child 2021 sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse)
