We have two new teachers leading two great studies as well as kicking off a new season of our Young Parents Sunday morning gathering! Get all the information below about each group and find the one that fits you best! And if Sunday Mornings don’t work well for you, we will also have a Wednesday Morning Bible Study for ladies and a coed Thursday night small group!

God of the Ordinary by Alistair Begg (Led by Cindy Kurzrock)
GOD OF THE ORDINARY (*2026 Christian Book Award Winner)
The book of Ruth may be one of the loveliest short stories ever written, telling an unforgettable tale of purity, faithfulness, innocence, loyalty, duty, and love. Yet it is set in dark times. The final verse of the book of Judges, which precedes Ruth in the Bible, tells us that “in those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25). The time was marked by apostate religion, lawlessness, invasions, and tribal war. Against this backdrop of strife and chaos, Ruth is a story of ordinary people in Bethlehem making the most of their bad situation―and finding God in the midst of it. Through this 6-session Bible study, Alistair Begg reminds us that no matter how dark or dramatic our days may seem, God still protects His people and accomplishes His purposes. Within life’s humdrum and routine events, we discover His loving hand at work.

Kingdom Come by Ken Clayton (Led by Stacy Bell)
In two previous books written by Dr. Clayton, The Key to Understanding the Gospel of John and Daniel: Courage in Chaos, is evidence that he is an effective writer in explaining clearly the truths of those books. The same is true with this book, Kingdom Come: The Kingdom Parables of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew. Dr. Clayton guides the learner in exploring those kingdom parables that relate to everyday living for the Christian who wants to grow to be more like Jesus. Although the parable stories are from the time of Jesus on earth, the truths and guidance of the parables carry over to this century.

Young Parents Gathering
Our Young Parents Group will regroup on Sunday, September 13th. This fall, we will be hearing from several of the couples in our church “with a few more miles” under their belt in both marriage and parenting. Our Sunday morning time is meant to combine practical help and prayer for our young couples as they navigate the busyness of life. It will begin with Pastor Kevin and his wife Traci talking about one of the most important needs in every household – “What Matters Most”. Come grab a cup of coffee and connect with our other young families!
